All our providers are background checked, CPR and First Aid Trained to proper administer care. We screen all our caregivers during the application process so that we can make the best match with our clients. In addition, we require all our caregivers to maintain favorable health records including PPD tests and Hepatitis Vaccination.

Dressing
We use proper techniques, some patience and the assistance of a professional caregiver, dressing becomes much more manageable and eases this burden of a seemingly simple task.
Bathing
Whether it’s a shower, full bath, bed bath, or partial bath, our home caregivers are sensitive to your specific needs and requests.
Proper Hygiene & Incontinent Care
This very personal task can be embarrassing, many people prefer a professional caregiver to do it rather than a family member. Caregivers receive training to perform this and other personal care tasks, reducing the anxiety.
Meal Preparation
A solution to the problems seniors often have in preparing healthy meals is to have a dedicated home care professional do the cooking for them. Caregivers can mitigate this challenge and much more with our meal preparation service.
Grocery Shopping
Together with our caregivers we can come up with a grocery list, keep an inventory of food and supplies you need, go with you to the grocery store or if you’re not able to go, they can go by themselves and put the groceries away.
Light Housekeeping & Laundry
Caregivers will clean living areas including your bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. We offer to vacuum and dust,clean dishes, retrieve mail and other daily household tasks including washing clothes and linens.

Nurse Monitor
We carefully review your healthcare needs, experiences, and interests. The monitors do regular home visits. Then come up with a plan of care that properly suits the client needs.

Traveling Aide
If you need transportation for a doctor, dentist, therapy or any other appointment, your home care giver may be able to accompany you to the appointment. You will need to provide your own mode of transport. Affectionate Touch is not licensed to offer medical transportation services
Environmental Safety & Awareness
Caregivers can make the home an overall safer environment by avoiding common household dangers. A caring professional caregiver will go assess the daily tasks associated with keeping a neat and tidy home to initiate preventative measures to ensure the safety of your loved one in his or her home.
Respite Care
A respite caregiver can afford you the time to deal with your own personal needs by sharing in the everyday responsibilities of caring for your loved one.

"When my husband came home from a long stay in the hospital and required round the clock care I did not know what to do. I have had bad experiences in the past with other agencies when my mom needed care. I called several different places and decided on Affectionate Touch and I am so happy that I did. All the aids that have come to our home have been friendly, attentive and most of all constantly pays attention to my husband’s needs. Right now I have the same two aids everyday but if there ever needs to be a fill in I’m not worried. Judging by what I see they would not have anyone who isn’t top notch. And if I ever do have something to discuss the owner Alan and office manager Edith are always there to take my questions and help me in every way .
